About the Author

William C. Chittick is a professor of Asian and Asian American studies at Stony Brook University. He's written for the "Huffington Post", is best known for his groundbreaking work on Rumi and Ibn 'Arabi, has been featured on Press TV and Shia TV, and is frequently mentioned on various websites and in publications related to Islamic spirituality.
